Day 1: The War Within

Devotional: When you surrendered to Christ, you didn't enter a peaceful garden—you stepped onto a battlefield. The Spirit of God now dwells within you, but your old nature hasn't disappeared. This internal conflict isn't a sign of failure; it's evidence of spiritual life. Paul himself wrestled with doing what he didn't want to do. The difference between victory and defeat isn't eliminating the battle, but recognizing it exists. Today, acknowledge the war within. Identify one area where your flesh fights against God's Spirit. Remember, awareness is the first step toward victory. God doesn't expect perfection; He desires your honest surrender in the midst of the struggle.
