Be Still and Know

Reading: Psalm 46:1-11

Devotional: The enemy keeps us busy because busyness prevents surrender. When we're constantly moving, we don't have time to remember who God is and what He's done. "Be still and know that I am God" isn't a suggestion for the spiritually elite—it's a necessary practice for everyone who wants to live surrendered. In stillness, we gain perspective. We remember His faithfulness. We exchange our anxiety for His peace, our confusion for His direction, our weakness for His strength. Surrender becomes easier when we take time to remember who holds us. Today, carve out time to be genuinely still before God. No agenda, no requests—just remembering who He is.
