Day 3: The Finished Work

Devotional: "It is finished." These words from the cross changed everything. Unlike Old Testament priests who stood daily offering repeated sacrifices, Jesus sat down at God's right hand because His work was complete. One sacrifice, once for all time, perfected those who believe. The contrast is stunning—endless animal sacrifices versus Christ's single, sufficient offering. You don't need to keep earning God's favor or repeatedly atoning for your sins. Christ's blood has redeemed you and forgiven your trespasses according to His rich grace. Today, rest in the finished work of Jesus. Stop striving and start trusting. His sacrifice was enough. Your salvation doesn't depend on your performance but on His perfection. Let this truth bring you peace and confidence in your standing before God.
