Day 2: Light Blazing Through Darkness

Devotional: John begins his Gospel with a cosmic declaration: the Word became flesh. The Creator entered His creation. The Light invaded the darkness. And here's the promise that changes everything—the darkness cannot extinguish it.

Seven hundred years before Christ's birth, Isaiah prophesied that people walking in darkness would see a great light. That promise found fulfillment in a Bethlehem manger. Jesus didn't just bring light; He IS the light.

In your darkest moments, when everything seems to collapse around you, there's a glimmer that won't go out.

If you're a believer, His light lives in you. Disease, loss, betrayal, financial ruin—none of these can extinguish what Christ has placed within you. The same light that blazed into human history blazes in your heart today, unquenchable and eternal.
