What does it mean to live by truth in a world that tells us to simply follow our feelings and define reality for ourselves? This message dives headfirst into one of the most pressing questions of our time: who gets to define truth? We explore how our culture has embraced the idea of 'my truth,' where feelings become facts and opinions become morality. But as we dig into Romans 12:2, we are challenged not to become so absorbed in the patterns of our culture that we stop thinking critically about what we actually believe. The central insight is both simple and profound: truth is not a concept we create, it is a person we encounter. Jesus declared in John 14:6 that He is the way, the truth, and the life, meaning truth has a name and a face. This reframes everything. If Jesus is Lord, then He gets to define marriage, identity, purpose, forgiveness, and love, not our shifting emotions or the latest cultural consensus. This is a message that calls us to examine the foundation we are building our lives on, and to ask honestly whether we are standing on solid rock or sinking sand.
