Day 4: Coming Out of Hiding

Devotional: Nicodemus came to Jesus under cover of darkness, afraid of exposure. Many of us live the same way—hiding our struggles, addictions, doubts, and failures in the shadows. We fear that if people really knew us, they'd reject us. If God really saw us, He'd condemn us. But here's the truth that sets us free: Jesus' light reveals what is hidden not to shame us, but to heal us. The pastor shared honestly: "I had a bag full" of darkness. Freedom came when he stopped hiding and brought everything into the light. Sin is fun for a season, but it always leads to bondage. The way out isn't trying harder or hiding better—it's confession, exposure, and surrender to the One who heals what's broken. Your darkest secrets lose their power when brought into His light.
