Day 3: The Greatest Commandments

Reading: Matthew 22:34-40

Devotional: Jesus simplified everything into two commands: love God completely and love others as yourself. Notice both are driven by love, not fear or obligation. When we truly encounter God's love for us, loving Him becomes our natural response. And as His love fills us, it overflows toward others. You cannot manufacture this kind of love through willpower or religious duty. It only comes from experiencing God's agape love firsthand. The Pharisees knew the law perfectly but lacked love because they didn't truly know God. Today, examine your spiritual life. Are you focused on religious performance or on deepening your relationship with the God who loves you? Let His love transform you from the inside out.
